Know who owns a wallet before you send.
WalletOrigin links crypto wallets to verified company domains with a DNS record and a cryptographic signature. Anyone can check an address for free. Companies verify in minutes.
Free to check. No account needed. Always match the full address and intended domain.
The problem
One wrong character,
funds gone forever.
Address poisoning puts look-alike addresses in your transaction history. Compromised emails and invoices can swap the recipient’s wallet for an attacker’s.
A familiar prefix is not proof. Check the complete address against the company domain before sending. Crypto transfers are generally irreversible; WalletOrigin adds evidence, not a guarantee.
How it works
Two proofs. One clear connection.
Prove control of your domain and each wallet, then make that evidence easy to find.
Add a DNS TXT record
Publish a unique record on the domain your company controls. No DNSSEC or on-chain transaction required.
Sign with each wallet
Sign a challenge to prove control of the address. Your keys stay in your wallet. No transaction or token approval.
Share your proof page & badge
Give people a verifiable source for your official addresses. Share a public proof page or embed a live badge.
Use cases

Exchanges & payment platforms
Bring domain-to-wallet checks into payment workflows with the lookup API.

FAQ
Clear answers before you start.
What is WalletOrigin?
WalletOrigin links crypto wallet addresses to company domains through a DNS TXT record and a cryptographic signature. It proves control of a domain and a wallet when checked—not legal identity, solvency or payment safety.
How does verification work?
Add the unique DNS TXT record we provide to your domain, then sign a challenge with each wallet. We verify the record and signatures. Publicly listed, active proofs can be shared through a proof page and embeddable badge. Nothing is written on-chain.
Do you hold or access my funds?
No. WalletOrigin has no custody of funds and no access to your private keys. You sign a message, not a transaction. We never need a seed phrase, token approval or permission to move funds.
Which chains are supported?
Ethereum and EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, Sui and Aptos. You can verify addresses across these chains from one account; wallet extension support varies by chain.
Is checking an address free?
Yes. Anyone can check a wallet address or domain without an account or API key. Public browser checks have abuse-prevention rate limits and are separate from the plan quotas for the key-authenticated developer API.
Make your official wallets unmistakable.
Give people evidence they can check—not another address they have to take on trust.
