Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of WalletOrigin, operated by Mertl Luxury GmbH (VAT number ATU76373979), registered in Austria (the "Service", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

WalletOrigin lets domain owners cryptographically prove ownership of blockchain wallet addresses across supported chains (Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, Sui, Aptos and others we may add). We provide a public directory, a lookup API, and account tools to manage your verified records.

2. Acceptance and account

By continuing to use the Service, you accept these terms. You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
  • infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
  • attempt to bypass rate limits, security, or access controls;
  • probe, scan, or reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape data beyond public API rate limits;
  • upload malware or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.

4. Intellectual property

Mertl Luxury GmbH retains all rights in the Service, including software, documentation, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you purchase. You retain ownership of your own domain data and wallet records; you grant us a limited licence to host and process this data solely to provide the Service.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Service level

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Verification results reflect DNS and on-chain state at the moment of the check and may change afterwards.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we detect security, fraud, or abuse risk. On termination, your data will be exported or deleted per our retention practices; see the Privacy Notice.

8. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

9. Indemnity

You indemnify Mertl Luxury GmbH against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Austria, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.

12. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact us via the support channel listed in your dashboard. For payment or invoice questions, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
